Section 5. Mobilizing pathways to recovery

You probably learned something new from the connectors you have discovered while mapping your community. Now is the time to engage them.

Continue to build your relationships and explore further how you might partner with them to better serve and support those individuals seeking or in recovery. Identify advocacy, activities, and programs that you can undertake together. In doing so, the goal is to strengthen the connections between participating assets and build referral pathways from asset to asset.

Make sure you continue to keep information up-to-date and add any new information to resources you have published to online maps. This will enable others in the community to find and access the resources you are discovering for them.

You can also invite collaborators and partners to contribute updated resource information by asking them to provide feedback for listed resources in your community. The more information your community adds, the more you can help people find and access resources. And the better you will be able to see and understand any gaps in care or barriers to access that the community needs to now address.
